Terms and Conditions for Businesses on Crete Unlocked

Welcome to Crete Unlocked! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation as a business partner in our AI-driven tourism application ("App"). By entering into this agreement, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Crete Unlocked, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not participate.
2. Eligibility
You must be a legitimate business operating in the tourism sector in Crete. By entering this agreement, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
To participate, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information as necessary.
4. Annual Fee
Businesses must pay a yearly subscription fee plus applicable taxes to be featured on the App. Invoices will be sent to the provided business address.
5. Inclusion Standards
Your business will be featured on the App only if it meets our standards:

A Google rating of 4.4 and above

A good reputation and history in the community

High-quality service and products

A visually appealing establishment

Fit into at least two of the specified categories
6. Non-compliance and Removal
If your business fails to maintain the aforementioned standards, it will be removed from the App and refunded for the remaining subscription period.
7. Data Review and Renewal
At the end of each subscription year, we will provide data regarding your business's performance. Based on this data, subscription fees for the next year will be determined.
8. Payment Terms

Annual Payment: The payment is due annually. If you decide to cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund, but your business will remain featured in the App until the end of the subscription period.

Late Renewal: If payment is not received by the due date and you attempt to renew before the summer season, the renewal cost will include the amount due from the cancellation date plus the annual subscription fee. For example, if canceled in October and renewed in April, the total cost will include fees for the period from October to April plus the new annual fee.
9. Promotional Activities
While your business is featured on our App, it will also be promoted through:

Social media campaigns

Featured reels with multiple businesses

Individual highlights on Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories

Sole promotion through our platforms if we are taking commissions for trips
10. Refund Policy for Minimal Engagement
In the unlikely event that the provided data shows zero interactions (i.e., no saved social media posts, comments, or views through the App), you will receive a full refund of the subscription fee.
11. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Crete Unlocked, including trademarks and copyrights, remains the property of Crete Unlocked. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
12. Limitation of Liability
Crete Unlocked is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the App.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crete Unlocked from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
Crete Unlocked reserves the right to terminate your participation at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
15. Amendments
Crete Unlocked may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued participation after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Heraklion.
